MIRANDA NATURALISTS' TRUST: The Miranda Naturalists' Trust was formed to encourage people to visit the coastline and appreciate its wide range of flora and fauna. The Trust encourages research and other educational activities. The Trust is involved with studying bird migration. The Trust owns and operates the Miranda Shorebird Centre which offers a range of events and education programmes through the year. | |

| We are an independent charitable trust. We do not receive direct funding from the state. Our main sources of income are our membership, which currently stands at 800; revenue from accommodation; souvenirs such as T-shirts, books etc; and donations. AN INVITATION: You are invited to visit the Centre You are invited to stay at the Centre You are invited to join the Miranda Naturalists' Trust CENTRE CHARGES: Day Visits - no charge but a donation is appreciated School Parties - day visit including interpretative talk - $3.50 per child + guided walk $4.50 Tour Groups - talk by prior arrangement $4.50 per person Hire of Conference Room - $150.00 per day |
