March 9 Sunday 11:00 am Autumn Migration Day. Guest Speaker: Adrian Riegen – Waders in the Gulf of Carpentaria High Tide 2:30 so birdwatching afterwards.
May 25 Sunday 11:00 am Annual General Meeting Guest Speaker Dr Rochelle Constantine – Whales in the Hauraki Gulf High Tide at 4:30 so birdwatching good from 2pm.
June 22 Sunday OSNZ – Firth of Thames, Wader Census: All Welcome! Phone the us for further details.
August 23 Saturday Winter Potluck Dinner 6pm. Guest speakers John Stewart and Kay Milton - Black bin bags, plastic magpies and quail eggs – the ups and downs of life for terns on the Copland Islands in Northern Ireland. Working Bee 10 am – 2 pm Birdwatching 2 pm – 4 pm Come for one or all events!

Dates TBA The Miranda Field Course. Now in its sixteenth year the Miranda Field Course is perfect for any naturalist. Topics covered in past courses have included geology, botany, and entomology, but with a focus on birds, identification, catching, and details on ecology of some of our shorebirds.
