Notes: A really good time of year to get yourself (and your family and friends!) down to the shellbanks at Miranda. The wrybill and pied oystercatchers are back from their southern breeding areas to spend the winter up here and the arctic migrants are fuelling up and starting to colour up for their journey north to their breeding zones. A good selection of sandpipers too.
